I’m very proud of myself. In Holiday Doubles I ranked into I think Gold 5 or 6 when I first started. I fought extremely hard to keep my rank up - winning games, losing games… it was tough to keep ranking up especially if you want to go up a full rank, I guess you just need to be good and lucky. Another important factor is having a decent partner, I would play with some good people and not so good people and it was difficult. Sometimes, I had to carry my team and at other times I wasn’t doing so well and I was carried.
However, I finally ranked all the way up from Gold, through Platinum, and now I’m finally in Diamond. I feel good! I definitely think I should’ve been placed in either Diamond or Onyx from the start, but I’m not going to complain. I like the feat that I accomplished, and it feels that I really earned where I am in the doubles playlist. I’m going to continue my struggle until I get into Onyx, but hopefully it’s before the playlist disappears!
I’m also proud to say that I’m one of the top players in team doubles stats in numerous categories. I’m 1% in the world with melee kills, damage, shoulder bash, and shoulder bash damage, and close to 1% in other areas as well. I just wish the playlist would stay, since 343 is most likely keeping doubles as a permanent playlist in the future! Hope you guys appreciate my accomplishment.
I want to also hear of other players that were in the same boat as I was, how was your crusade through team doubles so far? Best of luck, and Happy New Years Eve!

Thank you I appreciate it. It really is a pain! Lol
Guess I should push rank sooner or later. I’ve just really been doing the placement matches and then just moving onto another playlist. I don’t like the person I become when I get too competitive though haha.

Haha I hear ya’ on that. I go nuts, and if something happens like getting killed in a crazy way, having a bad team mate, both teams are neck and neck and we lose, etc… - tense situations I guess you could say… yeah I don’t like that side of me either lol.
