It could be a lot worse you know....

What I also find hilarious is that even though Halo 4 gets a LOT of criticism and lost over 75% of its player-base, look at the player reviews on Metacritic. Lmfao, I don’t think Halo 4 has those kind of reviews. So hilarious. xD

I think CoD’s days are numbered… finally.

Uh, no.

I makes the condition of not having cancer better…

in my opinion, the only way halo 4 could be worse is if it just didnt work period. just a black screen for all modes of play (which actually happens quite a bit in MM anyway…)

i honestly didnt like anything about it. i tried and tried and finally gave up. i always liked halo for the campaign. this one i thought was dull, boring, and poorly written in some areas. for me to complete the campaign only once is a first and rather shocking to me. i tried to do it a second time but got so bored of it i put it down and never had the urge to ever play it again. this is also the first halo i have ever permanently turned in and will never be buying back (sometimes i would turn in a game after playing the heck out of it when cash was low to pick up some credit toward a new game but i ALWAYS went back and turned in the new game after playing it to get the halo game back for dirt cheap. this will not happen this time).

it deeply saddens me that i didnt like it. i really really wanted to.

heres to hoping halo 5 hits the mark.

again, this is just my 2 cents.

Could just been a premature strike by the CoD-haters, but still. Holy crap.

Ghosts

Halo 4

And some you guys acted like our situation is unique, that 343 is this antichrist of videogame developers.

I won’t deny they messed up, but let’s give credit where credit is due.

Has there ever been a CoD release in recent years that didn’t have insanely high negative player reviews? This seems no different than the CoD vs. BF3 scores and shouldn’t be surprising since the people who talk hate about CoD on the internet go to outrageous lengths on a regular basis.

Not to this extent.

You haven’t played the game in months, why are you here?

Okay, maybe calling it a whole other campaign was not a very good way to describe it, but you are saying, unless I am mistaken, that Spartan Ops was lazy; and I disagree with that entirely. The gameplay itself could’ve been a little more interesting, but all those vignettes were a far step away from being lazy. And no cut and paste going on in the least.

Except for the repeated reusing of levels. And using multiplayer maps as levels. And let’s not forget Episode 7 and all of it’s backtracking on the Infinity. 343i cut so many corners on level design here and then shilled it as a second campaign.

Soooo glad I can have an incineration cannon drop at my feet for some hard earned kills. Oh the glory!

Less aim assist! Shudder at anything that takes skill shudder

I know right? All those tons of people playing a better MP experience instead of a tiny and deluded 15,000 on a poor substitute for multiplayer. Should be thanking 343 for that and not some make believe “god”.

That’s not what I mean stark. there is a point where less aim assist is not making the game “require more skill.” it is simply making the game unnecessarily difficult. halo 3 the aim assist is so low compounded with a projectile BR, please. Even skilled players miss a lot its just an unfriendly game. like trying to shoot a teammate in halo 4.

A little clip that Ghost reused really isn’t a big deal to me. From friends who have bought it said the game has been really revamped and almost everything from it’s multiplayer aspect was revamped but not like Halo 4 where it got rid of the Halo formula. Ghost just kept refining the cod formula.

Pretty sure Halo is already at a low point and it will get worse. The population is low even on weekends during prime time there is no excuse really …

LOL, that’s just rich. And as you can see, I think CoD titles release on a yearly basis. That’s one of the reasons I don’t bother ever getting CoD. With Halo 4/5/6 having 2-year intervals of development, that makes me worry somewhat. I’d like my Halo titles to feel like they weren’t rushed during the development process, but it seems like Microsoft just wants their money now. :\

It is nothing like trying to shoot a team mate in Halo 4, or any Halo. The level of aim assist features in Halo 3 are significant, to the point where if you are missing half your shots it is because you are really bad at aiming. Also, there is no “point where less aim assist is not making the game require more skill” but I agree that there is a point where you are just making it unnecessarily difficult. Halo 3 was no where near that point.

Lower levels of aim assist is one of THE MOST significant things you can do to Halo to have a FPS with integrity(you know, since FPS’s are all about shooting, why would you destroy that most basic mechanic of a game to make it not represent your actual ability) and Halo 3 is miles ahead of Halo 4 due to that one aspect, let alone the countless others that make Halo 3 an actual Halo game.

Again, if you don’t like Halo for what makes it Halo, GO PLAY A DIFFERENT GAME. Titan Fall looks to be the kind of shooter you would enjoy.

Because he has hopes for the future I assume. It’s when the person in question has stated that they are done with Halo (PERIOD, no matter what), that you tell them to leave.

Let’s keep religious beliefs (or lack thereof) out of this, alright?

Nice fedora there edgy, God forbid you run into people with differing opinions
Your whole post reeks of pretentiousness and entitlement, it kills me to admit it, but Mac -Yoinking!- Hudson was right about us (gamers).

I like how you used the general term of “gamers”.
