But now I see it’s back to being the skin only.
I knew it was too good to be true for the armour itself but honestly, why is this going back and forth so much? I wouldn’t be surprised if in the next few days another place says the LE gets the recruit armour along with the skin
Sorry to beat a dead horse if this is old but it’s really starting to get on my nerves.
It’s just semantics. Armor skins are treated as separate armor pieces, so regardless of what it’s called, the Recruit Prime is simply a different and separate armor set than the normal Recruit.
> If memory serves me correctly, Recruit is the default MJOLNIR when you first play Infinity multiplayer.
This is correct. Recruit is the first armor you get in Halo 4. Nothing has changed. You will be getting Prime Skin for AR and Prime Skin for Recruit Armor on Launch Day for LE buyers. 343 hasn’t made sure the other sites made this clear, which is a lot is feeling betrayed and ripped off (aka entitled). That isn’t the case at all but information from second hand sites that contradict 343 doesn’t help at all. Not really sure why this was allowed to go on for so long, but at least it was changed in the above site. Pray it doesn’t change.
Supports the above but this is when the LE details was first announced on Waypoint. I’ve linked this many times before but people still dispute it. Using IGN wikis and second hand hand sources (like Walmart and other retailers) to say we get Recruit with the LE. We do not. It clearly states what i’ve said already. Bonus Skin and Bonus Weapon Skin. NOT ARMOR.
I know that the Recruit armour is default and the skins are separate from the armour but why are they so confused about their own product? This is how it’s gone so far.
Armour and skin
Skin only
Back to armour and skin
Whoops, back to skin only

Web designers, not 343i or Microsoft in a whole. There’s these things called “jobs” and “typos.”

I’m just trying to say there’s no point in pointing out every flaw, even more so after it’s already been fixed.
Putting it bluntly, this thread is pointless and every comment and post in it, are pointless.

Which means yours is pointless, thus giving everyone elses post a point again.

Arguing? Really? :-/
Cut it out you two!
Back on topic, even though the skin is just an add on to the Recruit armour, it is probably listed as it’s own armour set in the menu. Like the weapons with the different skins. This is what probably caused the initial confusion in the first place.
I do echo the thoughts all the typo’s and wording issues is creating a lot of this mess when its pretty straight forward and simple:
LE gets the recruit armor skin, weapon skins, etc.
Create a list, send it to whoever is classified enough to know about it, done deal. I only hope 343 learns from this. It can be pretty damaging considering how many people are upset over this stuff…
