Specifically referring to the people in charge. Bonnie Ross and Frank O’Connor have proven that they do not understand Halo.
This guy gets it.
They tried to make Halo like CoD. They tried to make hyper competitive. They’re trying to make it the next Apex or Fortnite.
They need to just make Halo.
Who is the person that decides halos fate? Is it them? Because those same people were in halo 5 but it was as bad as it is in halo infinite so who’s making the choice to make halo the way it is now?
I would also love to know who was the brain child for Halo 5. Who thought up the thruster pack system.
But we will never get that because there are plenty out there that don’t want a reskinned halo 3.
Every game has had this same feedback lol.
Every Halo game is different.
They’re either all Halo or none of them are.
Wrong. Halo, H2, H3, HR and H4 are all Halo Plus, Halo with an additional layer of gimmicks that evolve gameplay. That’s acceptable. H4 is also fun with equal starts mode and no Killstreaks.
H5 is the major different entry because its core gameplay was designed entirely around advanced movement and Spartan abilities. That’s a Mutation.
If H5 was named literally anything else, it would probably have a huge dedicated audience, but too bad they made the entire Halo community its enemy while only getting some positive response despite its good gameplay.
If you’re so dumb as to generalize every Halo game as the same, maybe you think all shooters are the same or something, cos even one not versed with FPS gaming can tell you the difference between DOOM2 and Shadow Warrior.
Splitgate is what happens when you treat game design as an art form rather than a business. Obviously the developers knew they had to make money but they made sure they built a quality game first then added in a good store system to generate revenue.
Halo is nothing but profits first and foremost now. It hasn’t been about the art form since Reach. Microsoft needs to reassess how they build games and need some major policy changes.
You deal in very extreme measures. Don’t worry about replying to me, I have no interest in continuing discussions with someone that resorts to using petty insults instead of trying to have reasonable conversation.
You do realise MCC began receiving updates majorly after Halo 5’s post launch support ended, right?
Yeah, you make a good point, 343 doesn’t know how to launch a halo game, much less one as bungie did, that revolutionized the industry with each installment.
Bungie set trends, 343 clings to other company’s gimmicks and then when they finally went back to bungie’s roots it was anemic with content and barely any communication of substance to the angry fans… lol
Respect the halo IP 20 ch
