I am extremely dissatisfied with Halo Waypoint and what signing up for it has done to my Halo Reach profile. The only reason I downloaded and visited Halo Waypoint was in the hope of unlocking the extra armor parts that required Halo Waypoint. I have lost my armor purchases and rank of Lt Colonel Grade 3, plus I have been saddled with a 60 credit cap per mission, slayer match, etc. As I don’t have the internet on at home, I will not be able to regain this anytime soon as I work full time and my main form of gameplay on Halo Reach, consists of offline slayer matches with my friends on the weekends I don’t work. This situation has seriously affected my interest in playing Halo Reach and in purchasing any future Halo products. I feel the information provided about Halo Waypoint was inadequate and had I known what would happen, I would not have downloaded this product, due to how it has affected my offline gaming.
I know I could just start a second profile on my Xbox 360, but this profile would not have my current game saves, avatar unlocks, avatar purchases, or achievements, which I do not find an acceptable solution. I want to know how to restore my previous offline rank and armor purchases, or at the very least remove the 60 credit cap from my Halo Reach profile, so I may have a chance to eventually restore these over time.
Halo: Reach itself was optimized for online gameplay, this was Bungie’s intention to pursuade users to play their game online.
If you want a bigger cR Cap (200k cR per day), head online, if not, your choice.
It sounds like you were playing offline exclusively, off of XBL, the entire time prior to checking out Waypoint on XBL.
Reach pays you huge credits in campaign mode and customs if you play off line to make up for not being in match making.
But as soon as you take it on line you get reset to be on par with those who have been on line. This is from a Bungie Weekly Update published prior to the release of Reach:
"On a similar note, I’ve been seeing some chatter about the prospect of mass quantity credit dumps that can be earned through offline play in various game modes. Some of the laziest among us are no doubt already plotting out their path of least resistance, thinking of ingenious new ways to rubber band a controller to achieve a Zen like state of ridiculous effortlessness.
Not so fast. When you escort your offline profile into the wonderful world of Xbox LIVE, our servers will identify your newly connected status and instantly notify you that our online credit scale operates on a completely different level. (That fizzle sound you’re hearing is probably your boosters running out of fuel in an oxygen starved environment. Don’t look down, RocketMan.)
If you choose to remain offline with your decked out profile, you get to keep your ducats and your duds with no questions asked. But should you opt to take this party online, your credits will be reduced significantly and any Armory items that you had previously earned (for which you no longer meet the minimum online credit or rank requirements) will be righteously revoked.
Of course, the credit reduction that occurs when you make the move into cyberspace is completely by design. For players without a connection to the outside world, the system is simply accelerating the credits being awarded to allow them to experience the Armory at a realistically achievable (but decidedly lonely) offline pace. For those who opt for a more social experience, the grind is a little more protracted, but still profoundly fun."

So what happened to you was meant to happen, and the developers told us it would happen before the game was even released.
I got the 50k jackpot on Feb. 7, played another game, and shut off the xbox. Got on later and the credits were gone! So mad! With those counted, I made 175k that day. I really want them back if at all possible. I have been playing team slayer and haven’t won yet. I have never cheated or modded to get to my rank. Please help!
