Issues with Quick Resume on the Xbox

I was wondering if anyone else has been encountering issues with the quick resume feature on the Xbox?

For context, I’m on the Halo Series X, with the instant on feature turned on.

When loading back into Infinite, I’m brought strait to the MM menu super quick, which is nice, but the Battle Pass won’t load (I have Auntie Dot decals over all the items), and the store says that’s it’s unavailable.
Also at the point of the weekly reset of challenges, if I jump in, it’s still shows last weeks unfinished weeklies, or nothing if I beat the capstone.

However, if I return to the Xbox homepage, ‘quit’ Infinite, and then reload it from scratch, everything runs perfectly normal.

I know this isn’t a major issue in the grand scheme of things, but I was curious if anyone else had noticed this, or other issues with Quick Resume?

I posted the same thing. Turns out quick Resume doesn’t like multiplayer elements.

Yeah I’ve had the same issue too. Anytime I turn on my Series X to play Infinite, I have to quit the app and restart it. Not a huge deal, but a pain for sure when you’re used to quick resume working properly on other titles.

That feature hasn’t worked since the OG XB1.

That feature isn’t on the OG Xbox one…

But yes I’ve noticed this. When using quick resume you end up stuck in offline mode with a non-updated store or challenges page. The fix is just to manually kill the game from the guide & restart it. Bit embarrassing though, having the Xbox flagship title not work with one of the big series X/S features

This happened in Halo 5 with REQs too!

Except it did, but whatever. Didn’t work then and still doesn’t. It wasn’t called Quick Resume, it was just a feature that didn’t work lol.

There used to be a thing called instant on where it would turn on straight away and maybe miss a loading screen into the main menu, or have like one app and one game open at a time, but that’s not quick resume.

Quick resume is when I can actively switch between Halo & Witcher & like 5 other games I’ve recently played as if I were switching browser tabs in an instant, and the Xbox one never had that.
