After nearly 24 hours to completely RE-DOWNLOAD the game I had pre-ordered and pre-loaded (I checked, it was 100% downloaded), I got to play for a whopping hour and a half before a game breaking bug halted my campaign progress in “Meridian”. Before you’re instructed to board a pelican, the sound and textures drop off and instead of loading whatever happens next, the screen goes black and the Xbox freezes. Every time, without fail, at the exact same point.
Even with the problems in MCC, the campaign still worked. I have never had issues like this with any digital purchase until now. There was even an error of “cannot play online components” at one point. Take this from a fan who’s been there since Halo CE: Worst Halo experience I have EVER had. And now it looks like I may have to re-download it a 3rd time. Get your crap together 343i, this is absolutely unacceptable. Disappointing isn’t a strong enough word.
