First off i want to say i love the remake, but i have some issues.
BUGS AND GLITCHES: on the silent cartographer there is a point you can run up a ramp jump back words and see through the whole map. every now and then when im playing an online coop if we both die the second player is stuck on a black screen and can’t do anything. Also online coop lags HORRIBLY for the second player. and a few achievements for me wont unlock.
OTHER ISSUES: they said that the game was going to be pretty much the same as the first one. but i can’t do some glitches and some lines and scenes have been added. as well as some actions.
for instance you can no longer go find the lone marine in 343 guilty spark.
and starting in the assault on the control room if you get back in the pelican instead of a death barrier killing you half way down you now go all the way down to where she parks.
anyone else have issues?
I was playing on the level Keyes in coop on legendary, and right after you punch through Keyes’ head, the screen went black. We kept dying over and over because the screen stayed black. We had to switch back to old graphics and play the rest of the level with the old graphics.
Lots of people have experienced lag when playing co-op.
Some people have noticed missing sound effects, such as a silent sniper rifle reload, and I’ve had missing grenade sounds.
The whole thing has frozen on me twice; once playing solo and once playing co-op.
A friend playing co-op a one point couldn’t move for a while in the Halo mission.
I get the impression there are a fair number of bugs in the game, but they’ve already released two patches, so hopefully they’ll make Saber Interactive fix at least some of these problems.

i hadn’t noticed that. the sniper rifle seems broken on keyes. through my mythic and legendary runs it didn’t seem to hurt anything.
Quite simply the game was rushed to meet the date set. I blame both 343 and MS for what is a very shoddy version of this amazing game
343 are obviously not all that serious when it comes to quality
the online Co-Op has problems and needs updates. To find the marine (which i thought was a waste of time), try using old graphics first. You can still go through the control room’s doors with a ghost.
Shoddy? if you had the original, which I do, you realize the remake campaign is more fun. The skulls and terminals add extra fun, and it is easier to see.
Sniper does not work on flood, remember?
