Anyone else having issues with boss assist I find its random at best. A few times it’s been me and another person who take out a boss and I don’t get an assist for it. Another time I’ll take a random shot at a boss and keep going and I’ll get the assist. Found this happening more and more in warzone has anyone else had this issue happen to them. Any thoughts on why it’s so random at giving the award.
According to 343 this is working as intended. They want you to strategize and clear the area around the boss before going in for the kill to reduce the likelihood of kill steals.

It’s sometimes totally broken, I’ve once killed an legendary without even touching it.

He’s talking about assists. I know what he means, sometimes I’ve taken off 90% of the health, my team mate gets the last shot and gets the kill. I don’t even get an assist… what the hell? It definitely seems broken and very random.
I’m not talking about the enemy stealing a kill. Just the assist being inconsistent.
