I downloaded 4 warzone req bundle packs using 4 different digital codes immediately after purchasing my Halo 5 game when it was pre-realeased, and all of the codes were accepted. The only screwed up part was during my purchase, it was never disclosed you can only use one per account. For each code I entered, I was able to get an initial 2 req packs, but I only received 2 req packs for the full 7 weeks once. Meaning, I never received the rest of the req packs for the other 3 digitial codes entered. These were codes I obtained thru my limited edition and collectors edition purchase of Halo 5, along with the additional purchases of the warzone req pack bundle being sold seperately for $25 a pop.
Actually, I’ve been pretty pissed about this, and have been trying to get some resolution for months now, but Xbox live hasn’t be able to do anything to help. The retailer is trying to call Microsoft to see what can be done, but I haven’t received a response. Finally, I was told to get in contact with 343 Industries, but they don’t have a customer support department. I plan to continue fighting this case, and now will be starting this forum of my own discribing my discontent with the misleading advertisement early on when the req packs bundles were being sold because it was never disclosed you can only use one per account until later after the game was released. I find that pretty messed up, especially after spending so much money, and now I can see I’m not the only one that has experienced this problem.
Either Xbox, Microsoft, or 343 Industries need to do something about this because I refuse to spend any more money buying their products until I get some resolution to this issue. I advise you all to do the same and not spend anymore money if their are not going to take care of their consumers!!
