Issues about the game I’m concerned about:
-Dedicated servers (most of you are from America and don’t have any issue with this, but for other countries such as Australia have to always be paired with Americans and deal with absurd lag)
–Glitchy shoulder charge and ground pound. This I really hate. They are silly mechanics added in the game that ruins the Halo experience. Strongly recommend 343 to fix these features. When I shoulder charge it never kills the enemy, but when they do its always insta-kills.
-Weapons you spawn with. We should all start with assault rifles instead of battles rifles, but isn’t a big deal.
-Balancing of the weapons. Why is every gun useless for killing the enemy except for the battle rifle and SMG? The DMR is a joke to even use and the assault rifle takes longer to kill an enemy.
-Grenades have to be nerfed. Seriously. The amount of nade spamming is beyond my comprehension. Everyone just hiding and spamming grenades.
-Also in Breakout game mode where are the power weapons? Why have them removed? It makes the gamemode feel boring.
-Also in every map there’s not enough different weapons. All I’m seeing is UNSC stuff, wheres the covenant weps? (other than the energy sword)
-Punishments for leaving games need to be added
-Having to wait for shield to load back again because I accidentally ran is annoying. I’d prefer them to making the recharge slower than the delay time. That way it’s more fair.
Everything else is fine and I’m happy as a Halo veteran so far what 343 has done and look forward towards Halo 5. It would also be great if we could get our hands on vehicles in the beta.
Ground Pound needs to be an option like Hover, having an ON and OFF option. I have been duck jumping for 10 years now playing Halo. All that stupid feature does it mess up gameplay mechanics when I accidently jump while in the air.
Yeah I hate it when you jump try to shoot and that happens, I wouldn’t mind if they included a option like that or perhaps a different playlist called Halo classics.

FIX THE -Yoink!- PARTY CHAT BUG
every game i loose its because im spending 10 mins in the laggy -Yoink- xbox one UI trying to switch back to party chat every 2 seconds. try and play game chat you cant talk in the lobby, you cant talk when you are searching and half the time you cant even talk in the game!
litterally EVERY SINGLE game/beta/demo/EVERYTHING since xbox 360 this feature works fine. even in the mess that is Halo MCC the party chat worked. HOW IS THIS EVEN A THING?!?

ausbrah here. Just gotta back out/restart game a couple of times eventually you will instantly get a full lobby

I agree with except the removing of these features. Halo 5 is built to use these and they are not going anywhere so stop asking them to remove them. Also shoulder charge is a one hit kill from the back not the front.
Yeah, I know, but I’m being killed instantly from the front. That’s why i mentioned glitchy, dunno how it’s happening.
It’s probably lag, or you have had low shields to begin with. I haven’t been killed by front shoulder charge yet once in the back and I killed one guy in the front because he had no shields. If it’s glitched it needs to be reported and not asked to be removed.
Where can I report this bug? Because it sometimes happens.
I know the halo channel is one place, you also just made a thread about the bug so someone is going to see it as well.
Does Microsoft really not have dedicated servers near Australia? Forcing people to use dedis located halfway around the world seems like quite the oversight. :\

I’m loving the Beta so far! Probably gonna be one of, if not my favorite Halo multiplayers. So far though I have noticed that when in smart link the sensitivity slows down. This makes it a pain to aim correctly when aiming in smart scope. I asked around to see if it was just me but my friends noticed it too. If this was changed so that the sensitivity remained the same, or better yet, you could customize the sensitivity for smart link exclusively that would make this game near perfect! Hope this gets fixed soon, you rock 343 keep up the good work.
