Hello fellow Spartans,

Tomorrow 09/27/21 the flight will be closed, and hopefully 343 can take a look at these forums to get some hot fixes in place for the rest of the flight. I wanted to share my list of issues that I created while playing the flight. I am omitting the issues that are already posted here:

Here is what I found:

  1. While playing on Steam, opening the Steam Overlay causes issues. I use the default SHIFT + TAB to open the overlay. When doing this, the TAB button also pulls up the Social interface in the flight. If players are in the middle of countdown or searching for a match, this sometimes causes the matchmaking to cancel.

  2. Sometimes armor does not equip. When equipping a new piece of armor, sometimes it will just get stuck showing a processing circle. Other times it just will not register that player is pressing the button to equip, and the button cannot be clicked on.

  3. The melee animation cancel when shifting weapons is fun, but it is definitely broken and should be addressed.

  4. Graphical glitch in customization. The preview boxes for the armor pieces sometimes has black lines in them that make it look like a bar code was put over top of the preview. Other times it just shows a black or grey silhouette of the item.

  5. In the post game review, I experienced two times the battle pass not leaving the screen. I would be able to back out and could see the changing pages in the background, but the battle pass level XP review gets stuck on the screen.

I found when scrolling through settings or the training academy settings the screen would flicker.

They know about that already, it was even in the preview video did before the flight. Just one of those polishing things that will be done before release

This happened to me once when I tried it but when I was loading into training mode if you pause it when the loading screen ends and you change what weapon your spartan spawns in with it makes your spartan hold it when it does that emote.

Yes I also put this in a ticket. What are some issues that you experienced? The one issue I experienced multiple times that is already on the known issues is the one with going into overtime. When loading into overtime, the player can shoot and move around, but cannot see their character cam. It just shows a camera of a teammate instead.
