I decided to buy a pair of Kontrol Freeks because fighting the aiming system has been my biggest struggle in this game and I do have some aiming problems sometimes in CoD as well. So far the Kontrol Freeks have worked wonders in CoD, but I actually feel like they make Halo HARDER for me. Whenever I need to correct my aim by just a little, it feels very difficult to correct due to small movements with the Kontrol Freek attached not moving the crosshair AT ALL. When I took it off, of course it was very hard to do anything because now, small movements on the stick make my aim jump all over the place, and I don’t know if that is better than no movement at all
It’s especially easy to notice this issue when I’m playing Octagon where everyone is close to each other
Has anyone else had an issue trying to make small aiming adjustments with Kontrol Freeks or is it just me needing to get used to them even more?
I wonder if it could partly be my TV. I’m using an LG 50" 4k TV on the Game setting. Maybe there’s actually a decent amount of input lag and I’m reading it as the Kontrol Freeks being the issue? I do know that ever since I switched to this TV, I feel like headshots are a lot harder to land, and a lot of shots that look like headshots aren’t headshots and a lot of shots are just plain missing. Luckily, I just ordered a gaming monitor (finally) so input lag shouldn’t be much of an issue now
