I dunno. It was an image from Reddit and it looks to be one where they are using the Waypoint App to preview armor pieces they haven’t unlocked. Notice how in the image the Yokai helmet is on the Mark VII Armor Core and how the textures are low? That’s my guess as to how.
It’s obviously not a glaring issue.
If you’re buying visors at your own whim, why would you use them on the Yokai helm that doesn’t have a visor, if you were planning to use Yokai, why would you buy any visors?
343i is not selling visors for Yokai, they are selling it for the Yaroi core, a core that features 4 helmets, 3 of which are capable of using the visor slot, they still have a reason to sell the visors.
There’s obviously a communication issue if any of this thread is to go by, from what I can gather, you’re upset that 343i is selling visors for a core that just so happens to feature a helmet that can’t use visors… Which everyone here is saying isn’t an issue or a flaw because there are other helmets in that same core that can and it’s not like the visors you buy are locked to that one helmet.

And one that you start with, you statistically get 75% of the Yaroi helmets for free, I don’t see how that matters in relation to this topic, that literally just leaves the Chonmange helmet behind a paywall, 343i still has reason to sell visors for the Yaroi core and the player can still use them on the helmets that feature visors.

I think he’s talking about the Yaroi core exclusively as it’s the one that features the Yokai and Kabuto helmet as free unlocks. And visors aren’t cross core for some god forsaken reason.
Dude, that makes perfect sense! In the Yokai’s description it is referred to as the “Mask of greater demons”. It must look downright scary on fire!

You’ve said you don’t even like the Samurai armor. You don’t use the samurai armor. You in fact hate the samurai armor. Why do you care anything about any options for the samurai armor. I for on have multiple visor colors and gasp I use the “Helmet that shall not be named and does not have a visor that I can change the color of” end gasp
I could see you getting all worked up, and in fact slamming your head into a desk (as you stated earlier) if they changed the packaging on Pokémon cards, or offered a color controller you don’t agree with. Alas, you seem to be wanting to pick a fight with people who don’t care.
There are plenty of other topics you could try and troll with. Lack of colors for the fish that don’t exist, no waterfalls in interior spaces on maps, etc. This is way too specific, but props for your effort thus far.

Also, in case you haven’t figured it out yet, the Yokai helmet is FREE
The helmet is free and you hate the Yoroi armor anyway, so this topic is purposeless. Don’t be a Karen. There’s nothing to complain about at all. You’re making a problem out of nothing.

Them being purchasable to begin with is also a whole seperate debate from Yokai not having a visor slot, not that you buy Yokai anyway.

If they sell the Mk 6 armor pieces and limit customization on them as well, yes that will be a problem.
Why would you spend money on something you can’t use? Why would they expect you to pay for something you can’t use?
Becuase you can use it, there is nothing stopping you from using the visor on 3 other helmets that feature a visor in the Yaroi core.
Becuase they also realize that there are 3 other helmets that can use the visor, and that buying those visors is optional.
A better question would be why would you buy the visor at all if you were planning on using the Yokai helmet?
