I don’t know if anyone else has been having the same issue, but since MCC received a Skill Based Matchmaking similar to Halo 5 multiplayer has been horrendous. Constantly running into superiority skilled players not on my skill level (which I admit is average at best) throws off the balance of matches, resulting in constant steals occurring. Pre-SBM the game was more of a well rounded experience in matchmaking, but as of right now it feels like I am constantly being beaten down in each game, making me want to play matchmaking less and less as I know if the torture I’ll be enduring.
Furthermore this offset of balance in matchmaking has often caused players to quit midway through the game; often I’ll be finishing a game with a loss and half or close to my entire team quitting. Some games have finished with scores like 50-21 or 50-17 with no way of winning after players quit during or even before a game begins. All because they know what to expect.
Overall some kind of adjustment is definitely needed if Skill-Based matchmaking in social is to continue. Otherwise many people may be drifting further away from playing social matchmaking, a cornerstone of MCC, all because of an off-balanced under the hood issue that needs a lot of work,
Not Ture! I love a Skill Based System it keeps things Balanced! I’ve had no problem with the new system I actually found it too be more helpful!

I entirely agree with this. Whenever I have been playing MCC the vast majority of matches that I play are against people who are way more skilled at the games than I am and for the past few days I have only won 2 matches, even after playing MCC for around three hours everyday. I like the idea of skill based matchmaking but when every match is against people you will almost always lose against it takes the fun out of playing the game. Skill based matchmaking really needs to be improved.
It doesn’t work very well and is really annoying.
