Issue with Input: Using a Controller on PC

Hey all,
Quick question and sorry it’s been asked before. Running into issues with playingHalo infinite on steam with a Xbox Controller. When playing with friends / all wepon prompts still believe im using mouse and keyboard when i’m not. Am I missing some configuration or is it a bug?

Same here on PC, Gamepasss version and Xbox series x controller, most games alternate between KBM and Xbox button UI in menus and game depending upon the input method using at the time.

I’m also wondering if it’s affecting aim too.
