Anyways, to my point.
Remember in Cryptum how the Ur-Didact’s crypt was guarded by war sphinxes?
Assuming the thing resembling a bird in the H5 trailer is a war sphinx, perhaps it’s the crypt of the Iso-Didact?
I bet thousands of others have mentioned this, but you know.
So, is it a plausible theory?
Bornstellar did survive the activation of the Halo Array after all…He helped humanity grow again.
Well, that depends on where Chief is and if the Iso-Didact is alive. If Chief is on the Ark, we know the remaining Forerunners left it to parts unknown so the Iso-Didact isn’t going to be there. If not and Chief is on some random world, it leaves the door open, but whether or not he is still alive or would elect to go into Cryptum is uncertain.
The Iso-Didact and company seemed like they didn’t want to meddle with the galaxy again. Storing yourself in a cryptum so the galaxy can come find you one day sees like the opposite of that goal.
