Why are there halo 5 discussions and threads here? Don’t they belong in the general discussion section? is this allowed? I’m just curious because I’m pretty sure that this is the Halo 4 section. the thread can be about halo 5, but once it mentions the words “halo 4” does that fly in the halo 4 section?
That also goes for those halo 3 and reach threads.
Can anyone answer this for me please?

Usually people don’t start talking about a future game when the current one is relatively new.
Actually, you are only partly correct.
If it is a post on halo five only, it does not belong. On the other hand, if it is a post about Halo five but it mentions and ties in halo 4, it is OK. Same with mentioning Halo 2/3, as long as Halo 4 is mentioned/tied in, it is OK.

That makes me completely correct then, because if you re-read my thread, I actually said that in the lower half of the thread.
Please elaborate on where we should put Halo 5 related matters that are connected to Halo 4 if there is no forum for it.
I guess that if it has something to do with Halo 4, such as " I want “X” to be better in Halo 5" and uses Halo 4 as a basis, I guess it counts as part of a Halo 4 thread.
