Isn't the Aim Assist to strong?

Look at this video:

What is your opinion? :o

I think the Aim assist is going to mess me up more than anything and I hope I can turn it off.
I think the aim assist might be a little op on some weapons if its the same on all weapons.

I’m pretty sure they said the aim assist is less than previous Halo games.

Especially since they said the DMR has the least aim assist of all precision weapons.

I think what you’re noticing is the camera moving around making it look like the ret is moving around

The camera work is tricking you into thinking the reticule just jumps to them.

Good luck, don’t be suprised if you need three times more shots to kill somebody.
Halo is a game that needs aim assist and I haven’t seen anything wrong with it.

Aim assist is fine the way it is ya know you can just turn it off if you think its so strong

OR that player just knows what he’s doing.

> OR that player just knows what he’s doing.

Exactly. aim assist has nothing to do with it

Maybe I would miss at first but eventually, I will be more attuned to not having aim assist and probably be better off in the end. If I am wrong, I would deserve that tbag my opponent has waiting for me.

Sure, a bit Aim Assist you will always need on consoles but in this video the scope jumps instantly to the enemy. And this is what i dont want.

Go into custom game with a friend on your team.

Now fight each other and then come back and say you want to turn aim-assist off.

Seriously, no aim-assist on console shooters would make it ridiculously hard to kill. Take a look at CS:GO on console compared to PC.

That is just the camera work making it look that way.

There’s little aim assist. Camera man couldn’t take a clear shot in that video.

I heard this somewhere as well

As I failed to say, It would be nice to have an “option” to turn it off.
For the record, I found both CS games to be about the same as halo when it comes to killing

agreed that skull on cea where you can turn it off makes it soo much more difficult

I personally loved that skull. Gave the game a more realistic sense.

Yeah, it looks like that guy was a very good player. He let them have it with the DMR. Wow! Only time I turn aim assist off is when I’m shooting at one guy. Then it start tracking his teammate that is standing near him. It’s not like “Soft-Lock” found in Max Payne 3. Now thats bad.
