Isn't ravin teAm like halo odst but different

I feel like the only difference between halo 3 odst and halo ravin fire team is the campaign and probably different game modes and what’s with only 6 campaign missions

I feel like the only thing in common is that its halo and has odst in it, oh and has stats

The game flow and overall game design/structure is very different from Halo 3: ODST. Fireteam Raven is a title exclusive to video game arcades or anyone who wants to purchase a machine for $15k+, is a linear, ‘FPS on rails / shooting gallery’ game, has very different gameplay mechanics (such as unlimited ammo for all small, main weaponry, except for grenades) and takes about 45-60 minutes to complete.

Halo 3: ODST is a semi-linear FPS game where you can fully explore each level at your leisure, has an inventory management aspect to it (you can run out of ammo for your weapons) and (traditionally) takes about 6-8 hours to complete.

Story wise, both titles are “side stories” with Fireteam Raven having a (IMHO) more memorable place in the Halo lore, as the protagonists of the story directly helped Spartan-117 to take down the first Halo; if they hadn’t stopped the Scarab, S117 might never have had the chance to have the Autumn self destruct, as the Scarab would have either destroyed the ship or somehow kill the Master Chief outright.
