And the games shouldn’t be strictly 50:50 otherwise nobody would get a chance to move through the ranks.
And there will always be “upsets”. Even a 20:80 game should be a win to the underdog in 1 out of 5 games.
And therein lies the problem.
343 present the CSR as something to grind when it’s not.
It could easily be fixed by better communication. Show the versus percentage at the end of the game so that the player knows straight away who they beat (or lost too). It won’t take long for people to learn how it works.
And then have an XP to satiate that “I played well” feeling.
Why show the “versus percentage” in the end of the game? Why not in the beginning so we know what we’re up against.? I also think that if a team makes the other team quit they should gain the equality of what the abandoned players lose, not a sliver of csr… that is more of a blowout than anything
I have more of a MM problem. The higher you get, the more smarter and objective players you get. I play at Onyx so almost every higher onyx player plays objective unless i get the lower ranked players. I’m still matching with plats at Onyx rank. It’s a laughing joke, 343 has had this problem since H5 where we would have the most uneven ranked matches, especially in HCS Solo Q. It’s pretty annoying. 343 has never fixed it, I doubt it’s gonna get fixed too. They can say they’re gonna fix this but it’s 343 guys.
