Why? If DMR is for mid/long range and the BR is for short/mid like 343 says they are, I see no problem here.

Halo 4 seems to be all about choice. They’re including both the BR and DMR so players can use the one they prefer more.

BR (4sk) is probably more powerful than the DMR (5sk), but the DMR has a faster rate of fire and slightly more range since it’s single-shot.

By the looks of it, they don’t care how complicated this game becomes.

I like the dmr.I think they should make the br more for 1v1 engangments short to mid range.And make the dmr like a sniper.except less powerful.or just combine the two and give the br a singal shot and burst fire mode.
