i think Isabel is in a desperate need for a rework as far as her leader powers go. She shares 4 of the same powers as forge so there Ian much creativity there, accelerated assembly being the third tier leader power for her ruins the effectiveness of that leader power her Mac blast is a worse version of johnsons emp blast imo, and ghost in the machine has nowhere near the impact as anyone else 5th their leader power. Isabel tanks are great but requires you to stall and she can’t compete with any other leader in the early - mid game scenario. I know a lot of leaders need help ex. Anders, Johnson but in my opinion Isabel is in the worst place right now.
I don’t agree Isabel is the worst (Anders takes that cake) but I agree Isabel needs help in the early and mid game. Perhaps giving her more damage dealing powers would help, or further buffing Warthogs.

You don’t think Anders has an advantage with her R&D leader points?
I think a creative solution to Isabel’s problem is moving her perk that grants scorpion shields to part of the third cluster of abilities rather than the fourth. Also adding a speed boost to those tanks as part of that ability might give her something to work with, because as it is she’s an awkward Forge spin-off as far as her ability set is concerned. It also makes scorpions more viable as a unit, as they’re pitifully underpowered for a tank right now.

I actually disagree with Anders. I don’t play 1v1 or much 2v2 anymore, but in 3v3 my buddies and I managed nine consecutive victories in high-diamond and low-onyx matchups with me using Ander’s sentinels after they (my friends) stalled for time. Again, maybe I’m just lucky or don’t play against skilled enough people, but that’s my two cents nonetheless.

No breezy is right Anders is the worst she has no useful leader points isabel has a few late game. But to be honest as long as Tanks move so slow Isabel will never be any threat. Even late game with tech 3 tanks and the best offence she has no chance vs locust. locust just waits until she leaves her base and then moves in. The tanks cant make it back in time and usually you can teleport to the next base and kill that too.

Her sentinels(all leader points that support them), kodiaks, turrets including siege, Ark defense are useless. she has nothing to help her get map control so she loses early game and R&D doesnt make up for it not even a little. She has nothing
I use isable. I think in combat her holograms are super effective. its helped me alot when im outnumbered.

Hologram works for smaller engagements and even then the player only needs to leave temporarily until the holograms disappear it has nowhere near the same impact other leader powers in the first tier. Holograms is a cool concept just not as impactful as it should

aren’t tanks suppose to be fine now?

Not in my experience. I only ever see them in play when they’re packaged with unit drops. (E.G. ODST Squad, etc.) The problem I’ve been seeing is that their health is fine, but the speed and damage is not up to par. The trade off with tanks is that you’re supposed to be vulnerable at home because of a lack in speed, while dealing out significant damage, however scorpions don’t deal enough damage at the moment to justify deploying as a main strategy.
What I’ve proposed as a fix allows Isabel more flexibility with scorpions, both in how early she could get superior tanks (meaning shields), and how she could use them with an increase to their speed. In my opinion, it’s not too over the top and just subtle enough so that she gets a unique way to use a ubiquitous unit.

thats why in teams, i use grizzlies when im forge for defense cause of their slow speed
If they don’t buff tank speed slightly, maybe just for the leader point that gives them shields, then they could give her more options by making that point also affect warthogs or hornets or something. If they moves the point back to the third available point, so you have to decide between it and MAC blast, and have it give hogs and hornets shields, or possibly a nade launcher on hogs (that’s stronger than a JR because that would have little impact) and an AtG (air to ground) mini cluster bomb ability, to help against marines and a bit against wolvs (since that’s their direct counter). The shields would be more towards her style and easier to code up but not as exciting. I do think she needs a rework and if it was just her powers and not a UNSC rework altogether, i would be happy. Isabel and Anders have pretty weak powers. Ghost in the Machine is basically a worse and less threatening Omega team because you only keep the vehicles for 10 seconds, and its cooldown is quite long. While Omega team can jack three vehicles at a time and them jump again once their cooldown finishes, and they boost the power of the vehicle they jack. Ghost in the Machine just doesn’t seem worth it with the addition of Omega Team and Jerome. Combat salvage isn’t unique because Forge has it, and Forge also has the vehicle assembly or whatever it’s called. He has heavy metal too so even less creativity there. There just wasn’t huge creativity on her powers, especially for a new character in the lore. Sure you can say Forge copied her powers because he was DLC and she wasn’t but he was available at launch for season pass so he was ready the same time he was. But i think forge is fine compared to her, she needs the rework.

I mean a buff would be nice to it. More Holograms, or atleast make it cheaper and faster so i can use em as scouts? idk I guess im not high enough in the ranks to really where isabel falls short.
