Is your file browser wonky?

I’ve been having problems with the file browser ever since the Boltshot nerf TU. More specifically, the local game types. If I download or save anything locally, it adds a corrupt “dummy” file for each gametype. For instance, I’ve got 26 Slayer variants saved, Halo is telling me I have 53 and they look like this:

Binary Bolts
Binary Bolts
Binary Slayer
Binary Slayer
Covie Slayer
Covie Slayer

This is only fixed by restarting Halo 4. Its to the point where I don’t even wanna bother trying to come up with new fun variants.

Anybody else have this problem? Or has it been acknowledged at all?

This is a bug that Halo 4 seems to have inherited from Reach.

It seems to trigger at a “sweet spot” – I’ve never had it trigger with less than 10 files (of all types) on my hard drive or more than 150.

It’s just a display glitch. There’s nothing to worry about so long as you do not try to delete the duplicates. This is a very important point.

DO NOT DELETE THE DUPLICATES. THEY’RE JUST ILLUSIONS, BUT DELETING THEM WILL DELETE THE REAL FILES THAT THEY’RE ATTACHED TO.

Thanks Cobb, knowing it’s a known glitch that won’t dump my files is a relief. I didn’t want to lose my stuffs.
