I’ve finally gotten to 2% after many minutes. I have good download, so is it that everyone is downloading at the same time or so many of them? I even logged out of live to see if it would move quicker.
It probably has something to do with the thousands of other gamers all trying to download it at the same time. I can’t wait to get off work and start my download lol.
Luckily I got my dl in early! Just leave your Xbox on and go do something. It will be done in no time
Yeah I just got home, guess I’ll just pass the time. Also, Xbox service is experiencing problems with social and gaming.
is it normal that after I downloaded it, The size is only 10.2gb? It finished at 4am est for me and it was half way through I left came back and it was finished, But I get the feeling that it missed alot of data because the one guy on another thread says goes up to 18gb for the beta?
EDIT: Nvm I read more of that thread, Theres supposed to be a 9 or 8gb update when the beta starts

Took 30 seconds to hit 2 percent for me.

I’m pretty sure that that 8gb update they talk about is actually just for people who already have the early access beta dl’d, but I could be wrong.
It went pretty fast for me, at optimal speeds it should have taken just under 2 hours and it ended up taking 2.5-3 hrs, so not too bad.
DL complete in less than 5 minutes. Get better internet, and realize you are getting MEGABITS not MEGABYTES. There is a difference and knowing this will help you understand the correct amount of time needed to download anything.
When you see Mbps that means megabits. MBps is megabytes. So for the ones that still don’t understand:
Capitalization is key in this instance.
Mbps or mbps = mega-bits
MBps or MBPS= megabytes
There are 8 megabits in 1 megabyte. Understand why you think your internet is better than what it is? I have google fiber, so downloads aren’t a problem for me because I get 1 gbps NOT 1 GBps.
Gbps/gbps are gigabits, not GBPS/GBps which are gigabytes.
There are1000 megabits not megabytes in 1 gigabit.
It takes 8 gigabits to egual 1 gigabyte.
You need to understand simple math to get this and realize you thought your ISP was faster, but you may have misinterpreted your speed. Hope it helps your understanding of your true speed.

My speeds dropped from 10 to 7mbps constantly… But 10 is good where I live. (I’m 7 miles always from the nearest town, and the population is only 2000) and honestly it didn’t take too long.
It’s bs, since the time I’ve posted, I am at 63%.
I don’t know why but it seems like anything with 343 and halo takes hours or days to download.
It took my 6 and a half ddays for the MCC digital version and at the very least an hour for Evey update they’ve put out.
On the other hand I sought the digital version of destiny and it took just over a half hour and the updates are done in just minutes.
Got done contacting my ISP, they say it’s not on my end. To bad Xbox support isn’t available on Sundays, can’t contact them so now I will just have to wait it out. They said could be an issue with their server, and I wouldn’t be surprised.
Downloading around 10mb/s. No problems here.
It took me about an hour and 20 minutes to download it. My speed is 16.8 mbps.
It took me less than an hour. People have to stop blaming everything on…everything but themselves.

After disconnecting wireless and hard resetting again, I’m finally moving in less than a minute.
@Above, And u need to stop telling people that it is their fault, sounds like Microshaft employee. Nothing’s wrong with my internet, and it’s not slow, open NAT open ports…
