I haven’t been on xbox 360 in over a year. Been playing MCC most of the time but I’ve been wanting to go back to 360 and play on my 50 in team slayer, or even make a new account and go from 1-50 since it was so fun!

I’m sure you can still find games somewhat quickly, but they will probably be laggy and possibly full of cheaters.
Don’t play ranked. It’s full of cheaters.
The highest number of people I’ve seen is about 1,081, mostly in social slayer.
As for ranked, there’s Lonewolves and occasional team slayer.
Yes. Social Slayer is I think the only viable playlist. I still have two friends that didn’t upgrade and that’s all they play.
I don’t really think halo 3 on 360 is dead because I recently got back into halo 3 and it doesn’t usually take long to find a match, some playlists are dead but with others it doesn’t take too long to find a match.

Some playlists have little to no traffic, but others can still find a game rather quickly. BTB is sometimes populated or sometimes not. Be careful with ranked playlists, though, becuase more often than not, there will be at least one cheater/modder.
I still play Halo 3 from time to time. It’s fun but hard to find games for certain playlists. Also considering the fact you now need DLC to play Swat and BTB, I am aware.
No, I play every saturday with my friends in social slayer and we quickly find a match

Social Slayer is the most populated playlist. You can find games in ranked Team Slayer and Team doubles though too. I can only find games in the MLG playlist when you’re ranked a 40+, not many people at the lower ranks playing now. As a 50 I can find them pretty easily. Social is your best bet though.
Halo 3 is still alive… barely
You can assume it is dead. I would stick with MCC or move over to H5.
I still play 3 on the weekends, however in a ranked match even if you don’t party up you’ll probably be set up with the same people a lot.
I would just play social if you wanted to try and get a 50 again you would probably have to party up with a high rank because it will be tough finding a game by your self
