There has been a couple of threads going around about this topic and now I am currently confused and in class. Is warzone still 12v12 or are they testing the 6v6. Or is it the fireteam (party of invited players) being limited?
edit- it has been confirmed fireteam limits have changed to 6 players maximum for a party of invited players. Overall team size is 12 v 12.
Warzone is still 12v12. However, the max fireteam limit is 6 players. So the largest team you can enter Warzone with is a team of 6, and the game will matchmake 6 other players to your team.
It’s still 12v12, the change is that you can only go into matchmaking with a fireteam of six or less.

Ahh yes thank you. There has been a couple of threads thinking that the team size of warzone was changed to 6v6…
Yes warzone is still 12v12 they just limited the fire team size to 6 instead of 12 players it’s in response to a lot of one-sided games and of course farming that they won’t mention it’s only going to run 2 to 3 weeks to see how it affects the match quality.
ya it is still 12v12 they are just trying to see if restricting it stops farming
I’m really hoping that it works because I hate being farmed (as does everyone else)

Ah dangit, one day off the semi-official rule of necroposting, did you do this on purpose?
No. It’s a good thing, at least in my eyes. I have seen a rapid decrease in farming, and a rapid decrease in quick coring. Just because you are in a large fireteam and are communicating with each other does not give you the right to win, and call other people less intelligent. Newsflash, just because people play solo does not make them any less equal to you, and people have the choice to not use a microphone, whether they have one or not. There is no requirement to use a mic when playing Halo.
