That doesn’t work for me. All it does is bring me into laggy games which IMO is really worse than JiP. Only going in a fireteam ever works for the JiP issue for me.

I played 4 warzone games yesterday queuing alone, I join them all in-progress. Queuing alone or with a fireteam makes a huge difference there.
