Well I feel like a Young child waking up on Christmas morning. It’s patch day boys.
Early predictions.
Voridius still will be excellent. Grenadiers and goo
Pavium still will be excellent. Lich vanguard
Isabel tanks will be the best tanks
Forge grizzlies will be a scary sight to see that leader power coming in from above
Anders. Retriever sentinel gets blown out the sky by Wolverines and Reavers.
Decimus Banshees will still be decent but more in line with expectations for air.
Atriox Wraith n shrouds invulnerable tank army will be viable.
Cutter will stop any vehicle army early on. Raid and cyclops. Will be lacking building damage. Possibly gets it from Marines Flamers n cyclops.
Colony vehicle symbiotics with his vehicle drop will be nice to complement his Wraith army. With big bad slow Colony in the middle just Taunting you to get scorched.
Shipmaster I feel will be lacking. Could be ok with late tanks and displacement.
Kinsano Heat of battle, Redline, Hellcharge Tanks.
it still won’t be enough.
Jerome will steal those scary grizzlies when they land on the field. With the spartan drop
Serina will be good early and most likely fall off once tanks show up to the battle. Her tank armies could be good.
Arbitor Phantoms will be held in check early by anti air but still will be unkillable late game
Johnson Mechs are stronger than any tank army. Good luck getting that army on the field in time.
YapYap Wraith, Methane wagon, Locus army might be underrated. A good yap yap is scary to see.

For all my criticisms, I’m very happy that we have a good chance that there’s no more significant exploits.

Christmas indeed i always love when a new patch comes out, i just hope they don’t totally kill Voridus and make him absolutely useless now. Like Jenkins said his grenadiers will be decent. Isabel i’m dubbing her queen. I’m hoping hogs are still somewhat viable but i seriously doubt that, I always loved going hogs with her.
Anyways here is to some fun game play and testing later on today when the patch drops.

Question. Are the upgrades for the units in Firefight affected? For example, more AOE for the Reaver would be very helpful in a firefight.
