Really depends on how you want to use it and how you do use it. If you just want to get to places, then no. In battle, it could provide you that life saving ability to fly to cover, and that happens many times for me, so +1, but there are a lot of cons, such as it is kind of slow and the distance isn’t too large. Your choice, but you should try it.
I use Thruster Pack as my primary AA. It’s incredibly useful.
I basically use it to get from cover to cover, or to get away quickly when I’m losing a BR fight next to cover. It’s an amazing tool to get away from fights, not to mention it really helps in closing the gap with stuff like shotguns and swords.
I can’t begin to count how many times I’ve been nade-spammed in Objective, and Thrust has saved my skin. “OH GOD GRENADES” Thrust “Whew…”
Just practice with it. Get to know it.
Use it to quickly evade Spartan Lasers, grenades, vehicles and the such without giving your opponent time to change his/her trajectory. It also gets you around corners fast.
I know some people find great success with it, but it was the first AA I unlocked and I had god awful luck or success with it.
