Haven’t touched this game since maybe December or so. Has the ar been nerfed, sbmm reduced in social and de sync fixed ? And low latency games being priority over sbmm. Also is the game whole yet or is it still almost 2 years later still broken. Also the micro transactions gone

Game got slightly better over the last 8 months, but desync still isn’t fixed. Progression still sucks, umm, the store is still full of overpriced crap.
It’s probably gonna be a while before any real change occurs.
With that being said, you can still hang out here on the forums with me.

I’ve been on mcc and taking off all server selection but us only had made games a lot smoother no laggy games

No. It’s just not worth coming back to this game. After all the disasters with desync, over-the-top aggressive monetization and FOMO, a disgustingly overrated campaign that just reeks of Far Cry with a Halo skin, and massive spikes in bandwidth use because the game keeps re-downloading the same 4K/HD assets in the menu over and over again, I called it quits with Halo MIDfinite in January 2022. Since then, I have never returned to it, instead now gladly enjoying H5 and MCC (although I am on the verge of deleting MCC or at least moving it to my external hard drive due to the possibility of it getting MTXs).
On a positive note, I can’t wait to finally play Saints Row 2 on my Xbox and go back to playing Serious Sam Fusion on my PC soon!

No, but sort of? They tried to fix a regional server selection issue so people couldn’t set their router to only connect to nearby servers, but that made it so people in like Australia for example unable to find matches, so they messed with the sbmm and regions again, and now people like MintBlitz can find matches again. It’s still annoyingly sweaty, and it’s even more unforgiving in Ranked, unless they finally fixed the massive rank drop if you lose a match
Still as broken as ever
Still just as broken pretty much. A lot of patches were done to damage and whatnot were made to try to hide the desync, but it still 100% exists. The menu is still slow and buggy, and the custom games still don’t work. Pretty much all they did this entire last year was add stuff that you can buy, and 2 new maps. That’s it. Sure, they did a lot of little tiny minor tweaks, like a slightly bigger radar, and vehicles have more health, but there’s seriously almost no difference in a whole year
They still exist and are about as expensive and garbage as ever. Since we are in another six months season, they will be re-running some season 1 store stuff again, because they are out of content again
No. I reinstall it occasionally to see if they ever fix anything, and then uninstall it because it’s still basically the same since the launch

I mean the population went from the millions to around 100,000 only a few months after launch. Pretty sure hardly anybody plays it. I never see anybody on my friends list play it
And we still don’t have co op or forge xDDDDD
I pretty much have only been waiting all this time for Forge, and based on the Forge leaks, we will be able to create pretty much any map or mode we can think of. I’m not saying it’s going to save Halo Infinite, but it will bring people back. I’ve seen a lot of impressive maps, custom game modes, custom weapons, custom vehicles, and custom equipment. The only thing I’m looking forward to is stuff that 343 isn’t even making, and that’s kind of sad. They are basically handing us the developer tools to support the game over the next nine years, because they are not doing anything except shop

In reach they used crap forge maps in mm. I can’t name a single map form 343 in infinite that is memorable. Just like any f2p game shop takes priory over real fixes
343 has never been good at making maps. They only know how to make (mostly) 1 story (sometimes tiny rooms, boxes, or bridges, but nothing like Bungie maps), 3 lanes with a middle split, hyper-generic, sterile arena maps, but in Halo Infinite, it’s worse than ever, because unlike 4 and 5, there’s no room to fly or drive. That’s one of the reasons I at least like Halo 5 for Warzone (but I hated the gacha). Lots of content, lots of vehicles, a lot of weapons, lots of space, my favorite kind of BTB experience imho, because it was bigger BTB with Firefight in one mode
Technically we will be able to make Warzone in Forge with the custom menus and custom vehicles and weapons
Halo 4 I quit like a month after launch on 360 went back to 3. Warzone in h5 was fun until they added strict sbmm to it every game was super sweaty and took forever to find a game. So we alt swapped and sidelined the sbmm to have fun 
how can we play on mains when we can’t get games or they are mlg super sweat
That’s what Bungie got right. They wanted us to enjoy fun matches sometimes, and sweaty matches sometimes. 343 still hasn’t gotten it right after a decade, because 343 only cares about generic Arena competitive gameplay, unlike Bungie that created Halo to be about having fun

343 created the need for Smurf accounts. I have them I maintained a bronze account for h5 multiple just for messing around because my main would be onyx people the majority of the time and I don’t want to play mlg all the time. Learn how the system works game it in your favor because only nubs and bads are allowed to get fast and casual games in 343 land. Bungie land you don’t need to have a alt account but it happened. H2 and 3 I had no issues getting a balance of games on my main
De-sync is worse…the servers are less stable…there are more 3v4’s than ever…Toxic players have figured out how to abuse the rank system…
