"Pre-Order Cancelled" "RIP Halo"
All I’m hearing here is this. “Please 343, support the Old Halo Fans!”. Are you really that Old Halo Fan? Did Halo CE even had a Ranking System or Unlockables? No. And people still playing it and Loving it. Yeah, there are some things that were great on Halo 3. Some amazing stuff on Halo 2, and even on Halo: Reach.
Why people is only taking care about something that should be so small? You have this amazing campaign and storyline, along with 50 Spartan Ops missions in just One season! A ranking system cannot destroy the game, you know why? Because if you’re a true Halo fan, you wouldn’t be like this for just that. Halo 4 isn’t just War Games. Halo 4 is the return of the Master Chief, the return of Cortana, and the rise of an Ancient Evil.
And even thinking that. War Games looks amazing, I cant wait to play it. But think about that as far as it goes.
The Focus of the game is not to be the best MLG Pro in the world, or have the Ultimate Rank. Is to share with friends those awesome moments that are lost now.
Just want to share my Opinion over here. 343 Industries, you’ve done an amazing job with the game, I’m really looking forward to it, and to the rest of the Reclaimer Trilogy. So I guess that’s it. Move on, this is the beginning of the best Part of Halo…

Entitled kid. Some gamers no matter the branch seem to have become so entitled to their little self they can’t deal with anything that doesn’t go the way they want it to be.
It’s just awesome finding the same thing here when I though I had escaped it after the whole BSN/ME3 pre-release/release. Oh well more fool to make fun of!

This is a very small portion of the Halo Community. Very very very small, lol.

Fix’d
Halo Waypoint is just a small fraction of the entire Halo Community. Many communities have their own websites where fans have been for years. What you’re looking at isn’t a good sample of the entire player-base.

don’t worry about it. it’s only the few that are quick talkers and slow to listen. there’s still over millions of other halo fans whose not complaining; it’s just the few that want attention because they believe the world revolves around them and everything has to be done their way. every armor must be to their liking or they’ll bash about how this or that armor doesn’t fit their style.

So the competitive players want attention at the cost of ignoring pretty much everyone else? Seems legit.
I’m a old Halo fan! Not all old Halo fans are like this. I’m very excited to get my hands on Halo 4! And I’m also a competitive player, but frankly, I don’t care about the ranking system. It still will not stop me from winning anyway lol.
Are you limited in your rational decision making? Read all comments by competitive players, even casuals in favor of a ranking system.
If you do read them, you will see SUBSTANTIVE reasons that speak for a ranking system. This means that there are real reasons for it. Its not about attitude, entitlement, feelings. ON ITS MERITS we advocate it and want it.
Pls read them comments carefully.
