I’ve noticed a lot of people making new accounts, then earning a bunch of req points and buying gold packs which they gift to their main account. Is that cheating?
you need real money to gift gold packs, except the first gold you are guaranteed to get at the start of the game. technically no, but their stuff is still not legit. also, you have to manage those accounts, so in my eyes, it’s not worth the hassle
Im not sure if you mean about the gold pack that you can gift but is just once you hit rank 10 or 20 I think, so is not like cheating. And you cannot gift goldpacks to others of your accounts, at least not with req points
By the time you hit the level to gain the ability to gift the free gold pack you’d already have earned more than 10k. Essentially you’re just wasting your time if you do this, you’re losing out on XP and what would’ve been the excess RP, it seems like cheating, but it’s really not.
People who are sweating and going to that effort are probably the same losers who would be buying packs if it didn’t exist. If it means 343 doesnt get extra money to microtransactions who cares
Not really because you can’t gift REQ packs when bought with REQ points.
Honestly that isn’t worth it.
I don’t think it’s cheating but it seems pretty pointless.
