How are we supposed to get the “Don’t Touch That!” achievement? Are there even Defiant maps in the Team Objective playlist??? Come on 343, please make the DLC slayer playlist objective with one-flag variants on Condemned and Highlands.
Theres a thing called going into the Anniversary playlist and go into the anniversary Big Team Battles. I got my achievement on Breakneck 1 flag.
Its possible buts its not quite as easy as having a whole playlist dedicated to dlc objective.

It’s a Defiant achievement, though. I thought you could only get it on a Defiant map?
Anyways, I know for sure that Condemned is in Team Objective, as that is the map I got it on. You might also be able to get it on Highlands in Big Team!
Highlands/Condemned are the only two maps you can get it on…

Are you sure about that? The achievement says it needs to be on a Defiant map so I am skeptical. Also in all of my searching in team objective and BTB with people who have Defiant DLC, I have never gotten Highland or Condemned, let alone a 1 flag game.

IMO its hard to get compared to all of the other achievements but if you get it condemed that map is almost impossible…Kinda small more for a team slayer map!

I was playing Living Dead earlier today trying to get the achievement. After 3 games I found a match where everyone had the maps. Everyone voted for Condemned. I was thinking “omg, finally a chance to get that achievement”.
Then it happened: “LOAD FAILURE” because someone couldn’t load the map so there was another voting round. -_-
After a frustrating game on Sword Base I tried again. Of course nobody had the maps this time.
I just gave up after that. I would have played more but I hate Living Dead.
I’m not even going to comment about the other Defiant exclusive achievements…

the infection achievements for defiant maps are stupid they added achivements to a map pack that came out a while ago you dont do that 343 and the achievements are rediculous because living dead is just a bunch of 12 year old squekers who dont buy map packs so when a defiant map comes up everyone dosent vote for it.

Didn’t you hear? You’re supposed to go into the Team Objective playlist with the 250 other people who play that playlist and sacrifice small animals in hopes of appeasing the Halo gods into matching you up with 7 people who have the DLC.
Seriously, increased weighting to DLC matching is not working. And not enough people are playing the new DLC-Slayer playlist to keep it around next month, be it for lack of objective games or lack of TU, I don’t know. I would like to see some more playlists be DLC-required, ala Halo 3
All the DLC achievements should be unlockable on every map. I’ve been “Last Man Standing” numerous times in Infection. yet since I wasn’t on Anniversary Map no dice.

Very, very true. The reason they make DLC specific achievements are to “encourage” you to buy the DLC, however some achievements are ridiculously hard to get anyhow, and the mappacks more or less failed since so few people bought them because Reach failed (and so on).
Since they released the achievements for everyone, why not let us get them on any DLC map at least?
Next time, only the people who bought the DLC can get those achievements and no one else. However, if you have the DLC, then you can unlock them anywhere in Matchmaking. If you did not get the DLC, then you can’t unlock them at all. The achievements are DLC achievements, so they should come with the DLC. No freebies!
At this point in time, I’ve given up on my record for achievements. It isn’t about the ability to try for them, i want to earn them, but I finally swallowed my pride for a few games of infection a couple of nights ago (for some reason, I cannot play that playlist, either the players betray too much or I’m left with a laggy host that has zombie’s killing me off spawn sometimes/ something else) and never saw condemned. Now granted it is the biggest playlist I’ve seen and I understand everyone’s postings to be upset and disappointed, but in the end, achievements are a nice thing to have, but don’t make or break gameplay for me, and I hope not for the rest of you. If we really want them, we can always load up a custom game or two and get them through there though I like earning mine legitimately, not by boosting…
