So… was this recent?
The Incineration Cannon all of the variants now drain while you keep holding the charge similar to the Plasma Pistol.
I have mixed feelings about this. Hm.
As far as I can think always drained while holding trigger.

Either I was just super tired yesterday. But I’m pretty sure it never drained before.

I know its drained for a very long time. Like a year now. If not since launch
Its always done that, at least in halo 5. 4 it was like a rocket launcher.

Okay. Clearly I was very tired and was thinking it was a new feature. I found a YouTube Video from 2016 of the charge draining.
