I’m glad solo que Team Arena exists. None of my friends will play Team Arena but they will play any other ranked playlist. The result is me solo queuing against full teams which made me stop playing for 3 or 4 seasons. Now that Solo Que Team Arena exists I can play without that issue. Now to my point, this playlist isn’t necessary. Just fix matchmaking to the way its supposed to work and match solo que players with other solo que players and full teams with other full teams. No need to create an entire playlist. I know it isn’t that simple to fix matchmaking but it would be worth while.

Agreed, that’s why I don’t play ranked playlists anymore. It would be something good for the matchmaking and solo que players.

I’d be for it but I imagine it would have to hurt search times for sure. Maybe not an issue if a higher population is present. I definitely enjoy solo queue when I am not playing with friends.
So 4 vs 4 - going to take longer to pair likely. 3 vs 3 - do we just start allowing 3 vs 3 again like in halo 3 instead of forcing a random person to be the 4th? 2 teams of 2 vs 2 teams of 2 - going to take longer to pair if you want it to be fair.
I don’t think it is a big issue for full teams to take a long time to pair with other full teams. It is clear to me that full teams are in the minority when it comes to matchmaking or they would quickly find matches with each other full teams. The fact that full teams are matching with solo queuer’s tells me that there are more that play solo right now. Why are we pushing away the majority of players, instead of keeping them happy?
Seems counter productive.
