Is this really neccasary?

When any of you watched the CGI Spartan Ops video did you think that the previously on Spartan Ops part was necessary? Also the Halo: Infinity in big bold letters all the time is another thing that I see as pointless anyone agree?

Just grasping at straws for things to complain about now, aren’t we?

That doesn’t answer my question. It bugged the -Yoink- out of me not being able to fast forward through that pointless last time on Spartan Ops. Did you think so to?

They had a good sized break and I thought it was nice they gave a recap. As for the words “HALO INFINITY” showing up, its the title of the show. Do you yoink about the title sequence of shows when you watch TV or a movie?

It’s not the same as a TV show, can people really not scroll one episode over and watch the episode who starts something from the middle? It sounds like I’m complaining but its true.

They’ve done it like a TV series, most TV series have a “previously on…” segment before an episode so yes, it was necessary

1 month isn’t very long and you need to scroll past the first episode to get to episode six people can’t just watch episode five.

Was the “Previously on…” necessary? No. At least, not for most people. But complaining about it now is pointless. The episode is already out and there’s nothing to do about it. Like a poster mentioned before, grasping at straws for a reason to complain at this point.
As for the “Halo: Infinity” title… it’s a cinematic episode and should be consider as such… an episode of a series. It might not be a TV show, but TV shows aren’t exclusive to title sequences.

It’s called Spartan Ops it feels like they are shoving Infinity in my face all the time I don’t know why its there(Halo:Infinity) which is why it frustrates me I’m not looking for things to complain about.

I think they should’ve released it as a separate video.Like, have the video for the current episode for people who are up to speed with the story, and have the previously on video as a separate one for people who wanted a recap. So those of us who just wanted to see what happened next would be able to get right into it without being forced into watching the recap.

Most TV shows do recaps every week. It didn’t bother me, I quite liked it; Recap, next installment, set up then shoot everything in sight!!

Thank you, finally someone who agrees with me. When I started watching the video I was like really I just saw this. A separate video would be just fine.

I do agree. Those first 2 minutes could have been a separate vid. If it was only a feature on Waypoint, that would have been fine.

I didn’t see the need to have it in the actual in-game menu.

I didn’t think it was necessary and yeah, I did kinda want to skip through it and get to the episode.

I should have put in separate video as an option in the poll.

It wasn’t necessary, per se, but I thought it was a nice touch after a mid-season break and it didn’t bother me too much.

i admit i found it odd seing the previously part, really weird, but nothing to complain about

I’m glad I wasn’t alone on this one.

Pretty much this, I never played all the previous vids before i started so it was a nice reminder
