343 continues to dodge the topic of infection. I haven’t seen a lot of demand for new halo 5 gametypes. What I’ve seen is a demand for the missing popular gametypes from previous halo games, most of all infection. Acknowledging grifball while still ignoring infection tells me that this is the closest answer we’ll get to “we’re not bringing back infection”.
Who is still holding out hope for them to bring it back? I find it insulting to ignore the community on the subject like they’ve been doing.

Lol just the kind of “solution” I’d expect. No, I can play other games for now. What I want to know is whether 343 will continue to disregard the community that loved infection and the custom games it created and leave it out of the game, or if they have some secret plan to introduce it better than ever that was somehow worth the backlash from neglecting to communicate effectively.
I have a feeling they are going to do something big with infection, thats why they might wait. Remember, there is always something you could add to the game type options for infection and they have to make character models for it alone.

While I agree that game modes should’ve been there at launch - tell me in what world would you rather have no updates at all. People act like getting updates without a price tag is an annoyance. Tell me more about it, because I’m sure as hell glad they didn’t play this out like destiny did.
I have a feeling that they are avoiding talking about infection because they have big plans for a themed content update with a gravemind title and all(:
I understand the frustration of them acting like they are giving us freebies, but I choose to ignore the marketing and see this game as one that will progress over time. Much like league of legends or dota2.

Please stop calling them free updates. They are not. They are just supplying games and types that would not be charged for in the past anyway…
