It’s legit. I think Microsoft had to make significant changes to their final product in the last month or so (like including a headset) and that affected all the boxes and production lines worldwide. This, in turn, made them have to delay shipping in a set number of countries. Welcome to the club, man. I wasn’t even one of the original 21 and I know it sucks).

That might not work, considering the day one update identifies where you live.
The xbox one is not region locked so if im correct you can still order it online but it might cost more.

I think this is just regarding the sale of the console in the affected markets, rather than its ability to operate. Meaning, yes, one could probably buy one online from another market and use it. Having glanced over the article, I would venture to say the localization options for that market wouldn’t exist until later, though.
