Is this legal? - Halo: The Best Memes And Jokes

So I was browsing Amazon, as I am want to do, and I found this gem in my recommended products. It calls itself Halo: The Best Memes and Jokes. It isn’t very good and is obviously just at thrown together mess self-published on Amazon to make a cheap buck at the uninformed. This isn’t the first time Amazon has put up something very suspicious Halo-wise on its storefront, some may recall months earlier that someone was actually stealing the fan-fiction works of other fans and passing it along as their own work for upwards to $5. That author has since had his stolen works removed, but now I find this “joke book” of what I can only assume is images of Halo jokes and memes lifted from Google Images and sold for $3.

> The Meme King presents this LOL collection of funny Halo funnies, jokes, memes, and a great deal of other hilarious material to make you laugh and smile.

> Halo is a first person shooter game, created by Bungie, and is now known as one of the best and most famous game franchises in the world. A new instalment is expected this year.

So I ask, this cannot possibly be legal, can it?

O_O

I hope not.

nope its not, he can be sued as far as i know.

Death sentence! No objections, sucker! You’re dead!

I cant even…

It should be sued.

Microsoft is coming…

Plot twist- it is, and DC is sneakily promoting his new book.

You cannot gain money from a microsoft game without there permission (youtube exception). This joke book is indeed illegal.

Goodness gracious. I am shocked this Meme King hasn’t been sued to kingdom come. If you look at all the things the author is selling, it shows books from many popular franchises including sonic, resident evil, dragonball z, etc.

ONI -er I mean Microsoft- is coming for you, Meme King!
