Sorry if this sounds rantish, but I really just do not get this game AT ALL. I am not a bad player, in fact I have nearly 1000 more kills than deaths. But, it seems this game has a ‘II Kaelan II losing with a low KD’ -Yoink!- these last few days/weeks. I think this game is alive with a grudge and is trying to do everything I DON’T want. I might’ve played 20 games today and out of all of them I don’t even think I won 5 and I might’ve only went SLIGHTLY positive in 60% of the matches. Also, I’m playing SWAT and don’t like playing SWAT on Complex. Guess which map the game always tried to match me with? Complex! I think this game has 2 serious things wrong with it. Bad player-search system and bad ‘equalizer’ system. 343 claims that the system searches for people around the same skill level as you and tries to create 2 equal teams every match. I can personally tell you from experience that that is 100%, purely, undoubtedly the bullest of -Yoink-! Again, sorry for this rant, but I am sincerely wondering if anyone else has this problem… Does anyone else find themselves constantly losing and going bad even though you’re not really ‘bad’ per se? Or is it just me? LOL.
Or maybe you’re just having an “off” streak. Happens to me. I’m sure it happens to everyone.
Everyone gets them. I take breaks whenever that happens, come back later and try again.
I haven’t played since my last suckage streak, but that’s partly due to dishonored/mass effect 3.
With my ego, they are not easy to live down…
My good ‘streaks’ last about two games…then I’m awful the rest of the day!
So hey it could be worse!
Haha. Some days I log in and lose for hours straight. It’s just the nature of Halo matchmaking. I enjoy the challenge though.
LOL. OK, good. I guess I’m not the only person with this problem. I think, it might also not be so much that the system’s faulty (even though it slightly still is) but it’s rather a case where Hao 4 is a game where you WANT to team up with and start XBL parties with people that are good. If you go searching for randoms every game, you’re probably going to have a very bad time because, for whatever reason, the search system does not work the way it’s supposed to.
Likely lag. It doesn’t take a lot of lag to throw your aim off just enough that your not hitting where you think your aiming.
I get maybe 1 in 10 games where I’m lag free, and 7 out of 10 are lagged by 0.5 or more seconds. Reach and 4 other titles play smooth as glass in multiplayer.
