One of the things that sucked about BF4 and the Battlefront beta was the utter silence and lack of teamwork/communication. Games have been going in this trend lately where there simply isn’t open chat across your entire team when you’re not in a party. I’m going to be really irked if we’re going to end up playing in an anti social environment like other FPS games have been promoting recently.
I certainly hope so. especially in warzone. that’s why a lot of people wanted proximity chat.
Team chat is something halo has always had. This doesn’t mean people won’t still be in parties. The only way around that is forced gamechats which might turn people away if they’re in a party with people they aren’t playing with. Another downside is dealing with players with kinect microphones. Gosh those things cause an earache.

Well people in parties should have their chat kept in their chat rooms. But for people like me who play solo it would be nice for everyone who’s not in a party to be in the team chat room, where anyone with a mic can communicate. Basically just like what Halo 3 and Reach had.

Well if its going to be like halo 3 I’d like that a lot, where you have to press up D-pad to speak. That way you dont have to hear sensitive mics picking up clutter when no one is speaking. Otherwise gamechat should exist for team games. I don’t see halo without mics, only lone wolves had none after patch.

except push to talk is detrimental to your gameplay.
I’d like that, I barely use my mics because nobody taalks! and when they do, they’re just toddlers plz. Plus it would be easier for me to team up with spanish speakers and that doesn’t happen so often as well.
It would kill the game for me if it didn’t.
I honestly don’t understand this trend. You have a nifty little mute button you can push if you run into a -Yoink!-, and if you’re cutting off communication with your team to talk to someone playing another game entirely then YOU’RE the -Yoink!-. Real talk, you have no legitimate reason to retreat into party chat.
