Is this game dead?

So, I’d like to know why when I search Arena Slayer or any other ranked playlist, I get a message popping up saying "There may not be enough players to support this playlist."

This happens more often than not. I know Halo 5 had less than half of the sales that Combat Evolved had, and that it’s two years into H5’s lifespan, so is this game dead?

– Note: When I look at the Customs Browser, there’s only 1 or 2 pages of custom games goin on. That’s like less than 20 custom games! Halo’s greatest moments were on custom games and they’re barren now!

Please tell me if I should still try to play this game or dedicate my time else where. While the game is fun (though nothing compared to the original Halos), it tends to be quite boring and stale when you can’t find any matches :frowning:

– I made this forum post in order to see how many people have the same problem.

Please share your honest opinions and experiences down below.

Hopefully this forum won’t get locked like all of the other factual/hard critique posts.

Do you guys think Halo 3, a game that is over 10 years old, has more players than Halo 5? At least I can find matches there.

It may be your connection because anytime I look on custom browser there is 10 or 11 pages and I tend to find matches pretty easily

its not dead. but the population is disappointingly low

From my point of view, it’s anything but alive tbh.
