So it’s one thing to play online and have trash talked to you from the enemy team after losing, it’s another to have that happen to you when you’re the top on the scoreboard and drag your team (1 decent player that quit and two that either were REALLY new or enjoyed being bullet sponges). It was a close match 50-47 but I received a rude message from a player on the other team that was well below me that blamed me for being a lone wolf? On a team full of randoms, that’s bound to happen. He made it clear he was mad that I tea-bagged his body (which I did for revenge against his team that kept doing it to me). He claims I wouldn’t have lost if I was a team player and didnt tea-bag him. I sent him a sentence in regular english saying “Your argument isn’t very visible and if it was, wouldn’t be valid” in other words, I didnt see his point and it didnt make sense. He blocked me after saying he will take his victory over the chief (My Spartan looks like Chief). Was his argument valid at all? That if I didnt -Yoink!- him, I would have led my team to victory? Because I have other accounts and want to troll the heck out of him.
I play solo a lot so I usually come across a similar problem. I do very good, my teammates do poorly, and I lose even though I might be going +15. Still, even if you are playing solo, you should still try to work as a team. Watch what your teammates are doing and try to play off of that. I go off on my own a lot but I always plan what I am going to do based on what my teammates are doing. As long as you were trying to play as a team, I’d say his argument is invalid and he’s just trying to be annoying.
I have to say I personally have not gotten hate messages like that though. I actually get tons of game invites from the enemy team though after the match and I’ve had enemies congratulate me for holding out against them so well despite the fact that my teammates did awful.
Also, just FYI, don’t troll the guy. Nobody likes a troll.

If you still have the game could you post it in your fileshare and then send it to me in a pm? I ask becuase I have a good theory about why what happened, did happen. But, I’m not sure if I can say it on here without having someone EDIT it. I’ll go into detail On that in a pm as well if anyone wishes. Never the less I agree with the guy above me on trolling…it’s tempting to troll back, I’m guilty of it too, but doing it just puts you on the same immature level as them.

Trolls it are, I just ignore them, I’ve actually never even sent a message to a stranger.
But still, I often get more kills than the rest of my team combined and go at least +20, but still manage to lose the game… And then I get the messages that I suck and lost while I completely destroyed them single-handedly, but lose thanks to teammates who walk to the middle of the map and are just staring at the sky or something.
It’s also ridiculous how you always manage to find a full party when you’re playing alone or with just one friend, but if you’re looking with a full party, you’ll only find randoms. And then there’s also this logic: “Let’s put the three worst players in a team with the best one and it will be totally fair”…
Losers will make any excuse to blame someone else, some people simply can’t accept that they’re terrible and live with it.
I’m sure I’ll get some flak for this, but the person who “Trolled” TC has a valid point in my opinion.
When I’m trying to train my clan members I teach them NEVER to Tea-Bag or go for the animated Assassinations.
Look at risk vs reward
Tea-bagging:
Risk: Yes (Considering the opposing team merely has to look at their dead teammates X to find you on top of it)
Reward: No (Self gratification and lulz do not count as a valid reward, even though I love the lulz)
Assassination:
Risk: Yes (You could even wind up dying before getting the kill, netting you -1)
Reward: No (Unless in BTB Heavies I believe it gives you 2 points, but other than that no)
If the match is a CLOSE match, maximizing your efficiency can mean the difference between winning and losing. If you’re losing efficiency by excessive tea-bagging then you very well could’ve otherwise won.
I’ve played 3 games so far where the other team WOULD have won, but they wasted too much time tea-bagging allowing us to come back and the end and defeat them.
Also can somebody explain to me what a “Visible” argument means? First I’ve heard of that one.
I never -Yoink!-, it’s not a good use of my time when in battle. I always shoot their dead bodies and smack it with a melee a few times as I walk by.
Last time I saw a guy T-Bag the corpse of a team-mate he received a sniper bullet between the eyes for standing still for a half second. (thanks for the easy head-shot mate :P)
Either way it’s best to simply not waste your time. point is you did well so unless he hurt your ego or something. leave it at that
Tbag has lost all meaning.
Kids think its something thats done after a simple kill, any kill.
they dont even know what it means anymore.
Teabagging is just unsportsmanlike. If someone does it excessively and I remember, I usually rate them down after the match, regardless of whether or not they were my teammate.
As for your specific situation, I think some people just want to blame everyone else for their problems. Don’t sweat it, block him if you want, and keep playing.
In terms of “tea-bagging” it was meant as a in your face type of deal. And the only way it’s considered appropriate is if someone displays considerable un-sporting conduct, and if you manage to kill them then have a couple seconds to say: “in your face punk,” but many use it for many different reasons.
However, keep in mind that tea-bagging can be un-sporting conduct. be a part of the solution folks, not the problem.
