Is This A New Assassination?

Well when i was playing Elite Slayer i assassinated this blue elite. I never seen it before, my Elite grabbed his neck and held it to the right of the screen, he then stuck his Energy Dagger from the left where most of my victims neck was exposed. Is this a new assassination?
