I just started playing Halo 4 multiplayer again for e first time in several months and every game I join, all other players are muted. I’ve adjusted my voice setting to un-mute all and still everyone is muted. Is this a mute ban or what? I have been wanting to use my mic but it’s pointless when I can’t hear anyone else at all.
You’re informed of a mute ban via an in-game pop up.
It sounds like your Xbox LIVE Privacy settings are enabled.

Head to that page and change ‘Voice and Text’ to ‘Everyone’.

Any time, I accidentally changed that setting last year and was wondering why everyone was muted to!
Once you’ve changed the setting, it may take a little bit to reflect on your console.
