Hello 343i,
im getting mad a little bit. I was playing Halo on 360 for 5 years, no I buyed a Xbox One for the MCC and H5 but at the most for the MCC.
Now the Problem, I play Spilt screen the most time with my GF, I don’t know why but 343 have a serious Problem with this, example H4 on 360.
The FPS is a bad joke, it drops every game even under 30, how can this happen? No Game testing or u just don’t care?
Split screen makes extra lag because the console need to to calculate for 2 players instead of 1. In MCC they dropped the rending quality to make split screen possible.

To help answer your question, 343 is trying to maintain a constant 60 fps and split screen would force the game to dip below that amount, which would cause balancing issues within the multiplayer.
Guys please remember that not everyone that posts on the forums is a native English speaker, keep that in mind when replying to people

The op is right, spiltscreen on alot of maps is a joke. Halo 3 isnt really a issue for me but Halo 4 and H2A are a disgrace, drop the quality or something to get more frames. some maps are near unplayable.

I thought it was because if it dipped below 60fps the game would break. Or was it that they didn’t have enough time and money to implement it. Or was it because Split Screeners are the minority and who cares about them, right?

The problem is, Halo 2, Halo 3 even Reach works perfekt with splitscreen on the 360. Only the 343 struggels with it. Every damn game they put their hands on. Why?
In the gametesing u notice something like this or not?
