I mean I guess but at least we get new reqs, what they probably should of done is waited to release the reqs with a better update. But what is done is done.

Well they did broadcast quite loudly that this update wasn’t gonna be big, and that most stuff has been pushed back to next month, to give it more time

You do realize they had to push some on the content from hogwild to the firefight update for more polish they said. Which I don’t mind. I would rather they take their time and make sure it’s right than release it with bugs.

Yeah, since MoR released late, I didn’t expect much from Hog Wild. Sad we didn’t get a Race game type, but it’s whatever. Hopefully we will be getting that stuff in the future.

I’m very disappointed with this update. This is our last update they said we would be getting other than war zone firefight. Halo 5 is a huge dissappintment for me now. I’m going to start off by saying 343 don’t make promises or say anything anymore… You completely lost my trust. When you say you’re gonna make up for what’s not in the game and don’t add anything. I thought 343 was going to add in things. There’s so many gametypes that are missing. Here I’ll list a few- Juggernaut, Race, King of the hill, Invasion, Invasion slayer. The only good things we got out of these updates were forge and infection. This game shouldn’t have all that. Before someone says I can always play older games… I can’t the older games aren’t the same. The point of new games is to get your money. When a new game comes out the older games are no longer supported. If I had the chance I would be playing halo reach 24/7 over halo 5 but I can’t. The connection is terrible anymore: the servers are down every time I get on. Halo mcc is broken and 343 is already working on halo 6. Please fix the games before you move onto the next. I refuse to buy halo 6. The next halo I’ll buy is halo wars 2. I’m done with any FPS games made by 343. They had a good potential. 343 doesn’t even acknowledge the errors in the game either. Hey OP, a lot of the content was pushed back to the big June update that includes Firefight. This will give them a little extra time to work on some things. This was talked about in the last community update: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/community/blog-posts/the-hog-wild-req-drop

Why should we not feel entitled? Most people playing Halo 5 have been Halo fans since the beginning. I have been a lover of the franchise since Halo 1 and have never been disappointed with a game up until Halo 5. I have enjoyed some games more than others, obviously, but not a single Halo game has felt so incongruous with the quality of the franchise as this one has. The lack of content, playlist diversity, and map quality upon release was atrocious. The entire REQ system is lackluster and the maps do feel consistently re-hashed. The game looks amazing, and feels solid most of the time, but the aiming and sensitivity curves still suffer compared to Halo games of the past. The balancing of the game and the quality of engagements have a long way to go (which still baffles me, considering how good the Halo 5 Beta felt, and how great Halo 4 was), and then they feed us these gimmicky updates like we’re children. They add new weapon skins, Spartan poses, armors, and emblems like they’re going out of style, and yet they fail to address core gameplay issues that they have explicitly stated they care about. I want to like Halo 5 so much, but it’s so broken, and they don’t even care enough to prioritize fixing the gameplay issues over inundating us with flashy cosmetics. It just sucks, because we do deserve so much better. If you think otherwise, please tell me what drugs you’re on, so I can take them and enjoy this game too.

They said these updates are free. This is the last free update from them. They did say that. Other ones don’t have to me made anymore. There is lack of gametypes and I don’t plan on buying DLC if they plan on making it. These updates were to make up for the stuff missing at launch. These updates should of included gametypes.

No this is not the last free update… the firefight warzone update, which they said will be the biggest update yet, is also FREE. Expect it end of next month.
