Is this a hidden QR code?

I was admiring the HALO MP REVEAL PRESS KIT and zoomed in on the AR. Right above the forearm and to the right of the warning logo, Is this a QR code or at least a partial one? I’m looking through the rest of the images to see if we can find more, but I feel like this is a hidden egg for us to put together.

Might be weapon identification. Hopefully not though!

Here is the image for everyone wondering: AR QR Code

Thanks for the link there’s also another one albeit it’s farther away but appears to be the same. It may be just a weapon ID as said above, but I find it likely for them to hide these things with such a big content drop as this E3 event was. We may need to find more still shots of various weapons and see if we can put together a full QR code.

Another thought is that we’ll be able to see these better in the weapon customization screen once we get our hands on, but who wants to wait for that lol.

I’m willing to bet that it’s just a decal that’s part of the texture in the game. Cool if anyone can prove otherwise though.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there was something hidden in the trailer somewhere, they often put game pass codes in.

Interesting! Makes me want to go back to the trailer and other footage to take a look.

I bet its nothing but aesthetics.

I don’t think that’s a QR code, looks more like weapon design & labels on the gun etc.
QR codes tend to look a bit more random than a few jagged lines in a row.

As a gun enthusiast, I have say I highly appreciate the level of detail they put into the weapon design of this AR.

Are we looking at the same part of the gun? Zoom in next to the warning sticker toward the butt of the gun and look at the vertical rectangle. There’s no solid lines, it looks like white and black pixels in an unorganized arrangement.
