I’m currently SR117, and while I really want to reach 152 before Infinite drops for the reward, I’ve heard reaching the last two ranks takes a seriously long time. Is there still a reasonable amount time for me to get there, or is that window already closed?
There is nothing to suggest that you have to get to SR152 before Halo: Infinite is released to get the reward. Just keep playing and keep using boosts and you will get there eventually.

Oh, alright! I guess you’re right, then-- all I’ve gotta do is play until I get there. Thanks for letting me know, hopefully that really is the case and I’m not on a deadline here.
I have heard that the reward is rather disappointing and is just something that says you achieved 152, nothing too exciting.
For the grind, you’d hope there was some sort of in game exclusive… At this point, it’s more of a personal journey for me. I was a 50 in Halo 3, Inheritor in Reach, SR130 in Halo 4, and so naturally I’d want to max the rank in Halo 5.
Though whatever in-game exclusive that 343 may or may not give, I’m sure they’ll make it purchasable… Which makes the grind and reward pointless.
There’s absolutely enough time to hit 152 before Halo Infinite; however, it solely depends on the rate that you’re earning EXP. You should look at the total amount of EXP it requires to reach each rank, so you fully understand what you’re getting into. I’d recommend looking at a list that doesn’t factor in the EXP you’ve already earned. I’d also recommend calculating how much EXP you earn on your normal playlists, and then how much you earn on your weekend/ featured playlists, so you can get an estimate as to how long your grind is.

Nothing says you have to get there before Infinite but I would try to just in case. The population of Halo 5 will be so small after infinite drops.
Play mythic firefight, it’ll be a permanent playlist soonish so that’ll help gain a lot of XP.
You can reach 152, you’ve just got to play very consistently. You can track your progress on HaloTracker too.

Keep in mind that you’re really only like 10% of the way there right now. you’d have to play for several hours every day to make it. It’s not impossible but it would be A LOT.

Agreed. I’m 147 and I’m pretty sure I would have to play hours on hours EVERYDAY just to make it to 152. Again, it’s possible but it would be Hell.
I’m 149 and I doubt I’m going to make it to 152.

There is still time… But it depends on you really. I wouldnt put off real life for this token in infinite though. All you have to do is subtract the amount of xp you have from 50 million and then divide that by about how many weeks till infinite drops, which we don’t exactly know but try and guesstimate holiday this year. Then you will know about how much xp per week you need. Then you can set a pace for getting there. It will be a cram session as each day that passes it will get a bit tougher to get there.
It depends on how much you want to play. Your about 8 and a half percent of the way there. Good luck
